Bedbug Bite Symptoms
Bed bugs are tiny, flat nuisances that feed on humans when asleep at night. They break the skin with their mouth parts and inject saliva. Most people don’t suffer a reaction. If symptoms present, itching is a common one.
Bed bug bites are not painful. Some people have allergic reactions to them, but rarely more. The bed bug punctures its hosts skin and inserts two tubes for feeding. This doesn’t wake the host while sleeping.
Prevention is the best method to keep rodents out of a house. Ensure all openings to the outside are sealed with proper materials. Keep counters clean, food properly stored, trash sealed, and all of it away from the ground.
